Hi Eddie,
We actually rectified this image problem on Friday. If you go to your oreilly.com account media page and redownload the PDF, you should get a revised file that works on iBooks on the iPad.

If the books exist on your computer and not just on your iPhone, it's just as easy as adding songs to your iTunes library and then to your iPad.
