which web address app is better? Plaxo vs Unyk vs what?
Hi. [my first question!]
As above: I'm trying to set up an address book being accessible over the net. I've found Plaxo & Unyk. They're both good. I can't figure out which is the best. I need it to be: -iPhone app friendly -accessible via netvibes.com (as I'm looking for, just plaxo has a widget for netvibes) -not intrusive towards my contacts -easy to backup and syncronize -not limited to a certain number of contacts thanks in advance 1 Reply
If you can't make your mind up between Plaxo and UNYK and need a couple of opinions to help you come to a decision, let me help you get the ball rolling. Some Plaxo users really enjoy their Outlook integration, but not enough to pony up for the premium account when Plaxo decided to start charging for it and made the move to UNYK. Others went for UNYK because it offered Outlook and iPhone syncing along with all the other usual suspects, but found that it lacked the ability to recognize some locations and therefore found that usability outweighed affordability. As for an alternative solution, I'd suggest looking at GMail and Google Calendar.
