It depends on how the preferences are set in the web browser you're using to view your yahoo email, and on what operating system you're using. On Windows, the files might be in "My Documents > Downloads" or on the desktop, unless the web browser you're using has it set differently. You can find out what web browser you're using by looking in the Help menu for an "About [the name of the program]" item. Then, the options for a web browser running in a Windows-based operating system are usually kept in the "Tools" menu. I don't have a computer running Windows handy so I can't supply you with the exact directions as to where to look.
On Mac OS X 10.5 and newer, In both Safari and Firefox, the default location for downloads is your "Downloads" folder in your home directory. If you don't see the file there, while you're looking at this page, look to the top left of your screen for a menu named "Safari" or "Firefox" (or maybe Chrome if you're using that). Click on it, and select "Preferences." You should find the "Save downloaded files to:" option in the General section of the preferences. That should show which folder your downloads are in. |
