In the index of Best Android Apps, we included QR Codes for all the apps listed. Open up Barcode Scanner, scan the QR code, and follow the link. However, at the time of the book's writing, some of the apps were unavailable.

As those apps come available, we'll post links to them In the answers below.

Like doubleTwist, Salling Media Sync isn't technically an app for your Android phone. It's actually a desktop app that syncs your media with your phone. You can download these apps here:

UPDATE (6/3/10): doubleTwist just released a media player for Android phones. It's "free for a limited time," so you might want to grab it now to give it a whirl. Here's the QR code for the doubleTwist media player:

We reviewed iBird Pro when it was in beta and expected to be in the Market by the time the book was released. In the meantime, Mitch Waite Group has decided to introduce iBird Yard Plus (fully featured but with fewer birds) first. It was released today for $9.99 in the Android Market:

@ccmd: the book covers a mix of free and paid apps, so some of these cost money.
