Generating Usage Report for Internet Router?

I share a house with 5 other people, and we all share one Cable Internet Connection. We split the bill evenly, but I know we don't all use the same amount of connectivity.

Is there any way I can generate a report which shows which computer (ip address) from our Cable Modem/Router is online the longest, or uses the most up/down bandwidth?

The cable modem feeds a wireless router with 5 CAT5 cables going out of it, and a couple of us use the wireless for a couple of devices.

The default firmware in the router I use in my apartment doesn't give me much more logging than the internal IP, and what port or service is being used. Depending on what sort of router you use, different logging information may be available. In addition, some router models can be modified to run different firmware which provides many features not available out of the box, like dd-wrt.

Looks like dd-wrt can be set up for detailed logging and iftop, a handy tool to display bandwidth usage on an interface.
