How accurate are digital voice recorder time and date stamps? Are some recorders more accurate than others and what would be some possible factors that influence the degree of accuracy?
I had an 80 minute interview that was digitally recorded on an unknown make/model digital voice recorder and was subsequently burned on a cd which ran for 104 minutes. What would account for such a discrepancy? Thank you in advance!
