How to get notified immediately when Apple releases a product
OK guys, a lot of you use twitter, rss feeds and manually monitor Apple's online store to see when the "coming soon" disappears and the product is available. Such as, for those who are waiting for the iPhone 4 to arrive in Australia on the online store. Here is a quick tip:
Go to ChangeDetection and create an account. The next step, go to the Apple site you want to track, such as "http://store.apple.com/au/browse/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone" and specify you want to track that page. Now, this tracking robot will email you the second there is a change to the text, so if you set this up correctly with your email address, it will notify you as soon as some 'activity' happens on that page. It will also tell you the change that was made, and show a history/log of previous changes. 2 Replies
