Im setting up Photoshop to work in the One-on-One book but I'm having problems installing the recommended color settings from the best workflow file. When I try to open the best workflow color settings file Photoshop comes to foreground but immediately says "Could not complete your request because Photoshop doesn't recognize this type of file." I'm working on new macbook pro, don't know what i'm doing wrong.

The instructions for installing the best workflow file are on page xix of the book. On a Mac you'll need to:

  • Put the file in this folder: Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Settings
  • Start Photoshop CS5
  • Change the color settings to Best Workflow. Choose Edit→Color Settings. In the Color Settings dialog box, click the Settings pop-up menu and choose Best Workfow CS5. Then click the OK button.

Hope that helps.
