Why are my comments on facebook fan page walls invisible?
When I put comments on facebook fan page walls, they are only visible when I am logged in. If I log out and go back to the fan page, my comments are not visible -- but comments from other users are visible.
I have looked through the facebook support pages and I see nothing that addresses this. I thought this might be related to my privacy settings:  More general question: why is facebook so $#!! obtuse? I spent over an hour searching through their $#!! helpfiles and found nothing on this problem. Thanks. 1 Reply
I own a page, and the way Facebook is architected is to let the page owner decide whether the visibility of the contents are publicly shared or visible only to members.
Essentially, it works the same way as when you limit who can view your profile. So if you say "Friends Only", your friends won't be able to see it unless they login to Facebook.
