Looking for book recommendation: best book to start learning Powershell
I'm an application developer, a database developer, a 'fill in the blank' developer. I've tried a couple of times over the years to get into Powershell but ran out of time and energy before I got to the point where I could use it effectively. I've got a couple of ideas for how I'd like to use Powershell now (and I know I'd find more once I became comfortable with it).
I'm looking for a recommendation on a book that would gently guide me into Powershell. thanks! 1 Reply
I would stop by your local bookstore to see which one suits your needs. Here is what I found:
FREE Book off of MSDN (hey, it's free, might as well see) MSDN - Technet Book Your on O'Reilly, check these out: O'Reilly Links A lot of my friends are into Manning books, never been my cup of tea: Manning Book - Amazon I typically watch the Amazon reviews if I can't access the book directly. If you have a Safari or Books 24x7 then you might want to review it there as well.
