Why some O'Reilly digital books cost more than the same printed book at Amazon?

I was going to buy "Windows Server 2008: The Definitive Guide" digital copy at O'Reilly today, but searching for better prices I found a printed copy cheaper at Amazon. How can this be even possible?

I'm sure one of the staff here can comment on the intricacies of pricing models. I would like to point out you may want to search for a coupon code. I found one for 40% off books and 50% off eBooks. That would make your ecopy of this book about $22.00

I found a code that gives 1/3 discount on each book, if you buy three. Now it's reasonable.

hi there,
needless to say, but I would never ever buy a digital copy, since Amazon deleted Orwells 1984 on the Kindle years ago. Try to delete a book in my shelf ... there is nothing better than a real book - it does not even need a battery.
