Hello to everyone,

Tudor here !

This is my first post and first of all i would like to thank everyone that might post here and might help me in my quest. Also big thanks to O'Reilly.I am a beginner in web development currently reading "Learning PHP, MySQL, and Javascript - A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Dynamic Websites" which is a fantastic book by Robin Nixon.

What i want to create is an Online Discography (which is a similar concept to Discogs.com),and what i want to know are titles for books or references that will help me fulfill my goal. . I would appreciate it if anyone could Structure the books (or other references, video, etc) on 3 MAIN categories. - since i am a beginner ! something close to this.

Beginner.
1. book1
2. book2
...........

Intermediate
1. book1
...........

Advanced
1. book1
2. book2

As many books as possible, and every single info will help me. About anything , PHP,MySQL,
Javascript,Ajax,(X)HTML(5),CSS(3),and so on. from the most simple to the most advanced.

Many thanks and wish you all the best!

Kind regards,

Tudor.

Javascript and jQuery: The Missing Manual, Second Edition

Intermediate/Advanced:
High Performance Websites
Even Faster Websites

PHP: The Good Parts
Javascript: The Good Parts
HTML & CSS: The Good Parts

References:
HTML & XHTML Pocket Reference, Fourth Edition
SQL Pocket Guide, Third Edition

I hope this helps!

Dear Rachel,

Thank you very much for guiding me. I will get all those books you recommended and start working hard. I was a bit sad when seeing the number of views going up on the post and no one replied.

Once again thank you, and if anyone has other ideas, i am all ears ...and eyes!

Kind regards,

Tudor
