How to Install Test Versions of Windows 8
Starting with Windows 8 Developer Preview is available for public download and testing. However, since it is a test version, it is best to use an installation guide, to show you all the important test. Can you share some of the better installation guides?

One of the first good tutorials about how to install Windows 8 can be found here: How to Make a Clean Installation of Windows 8
If you found others worth sharing, don't hesitate to add them below.
I just did a successful install a couple of days ago and here are somethings to keep an eye on:
* If your installation fails, blame the ISO - In my case, the first ISO I burned failed, so I re-downloaded it and burned it to a disc again and I had no issues during the installation. I am sure you can test your downloaded ISO before burning it and after burning it if you know how to compare the hash of the ISO with the ones provide by Microsoft but I don't know how to. * I installed Windows 8 on a separate partition, side-by-side with a previous Windows 7 Professional (main partition). * The installation took 15 minutes or so * I did not have to install any additional drivers, the installation seemed to have detected everything correctly (so far) For more details, see my blog post on my first impressions on installing and launching Win 8: http://www.inerdtia.com/?p=84
