I have an iPhone running iOS 5 and have an iCloud email account with multiple aliases that I use to protect my main account from spam.
When reading email on the iPhone, how can I respond to emails without revealing my main account (or in other words, use my aliases to respond instead?)

How can I send emails from iCloud aliases on iOS5?

Lucky you. I have just migrated to iCloud, and tho' my aliases work fine on my iMac, and emails TO the aliases are received on my iPhone, I can't SEND emails from my iPhone FROM the aliases. When composing a new email on the phone, no options are available in the "from" field. And in the Settings, the email address field has my "main" address greyed, uneditable. (I seem to recall I had to manually add the aliases in here before, under Mobile Me).
This is currently being escalated up the support chain by Apple..... |
