I have a Canon 60D with the 55-250mm Image Stabilizer lens. I am working on a project to convert the lens to an image stabilized monocular using a rear lens cover and the ocular lens assembly and inverting prisms from a half of a binoculars.

I need to find out how to activate the internal image stabilization electronics by using the contacts at the rear of the Canon lens.

The pin-outs for the lens can be found at http://en.wikipedia....i/Canon_ef_lens

It would appear that Canon is using the Panasonic MN103SFH6K 32-bit microcomputer in the lens to control the image stabilization and focusing. Info for the MN103SFH6K can be found at http://www.semicon.p...FH6K/index.html

Thanks for your help.
