Nook Question
Hello
I enjoy reading and studying O'Reilly books, and have been contemplating purchasing a Nook and then O'Reilly books to download. I read the hard copies because I highlight and take notes, and also bookmark. Will the O'Reilly downloadable books support this? Thanks 4 Replies
Yes. You get your choice of ePub, PDF or Mobi.
The Nook and the Nook color support ePub and PDF (but not Mobi). Reference: http://en.wikipedia...._e-book_formats

Yes. You can browse the nook from your computer and manually move files to it. Or you can use Calibre to do it. See this tutorial video from YouTube:

Hi Gaspar,
Yes, I believe you should be able to highlight, take notes, and bookmark on the Nook. This functionality is provided by the ereader software, not by our ebooks themselves, so you'll want to confirm that the ereader you're looking at has the features you want. We make most of our ebooks available in multiple formats, including PDF and ePub, both of which are formats supported by the Nook. I hope that helps! Rachel James O'Reilly Media |
