Well, I think the subject line pretty clearly states it, but here is a little more detail. I use a PC and am reading the book "Access 2010: Missing Manual" and would like to recommend it to a friend who has the latest version of Mac Office software. Would the book be of any use to her? Are the ribbons, commands, etc the same?

Thanks.
Fran

Hello Fran,

There is no version of Microsoft Access for the Macintosh.

The Office 2011 suite for Macintosh (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is covered in Office 2011: The Missing Manual, by Chris Grover.

A good database program for the Mac is FileMaker Pro 11, which we cover in FileMaker Pro 11: The Missing Manual.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you for being a faithful Missing Manual reader.
