O'Reilly eBook Cut and Paste
Hello
I am a big fan of O'Reilly books. I purchased a Nook Tablet to be able to (while travelling) read, highlight, make bookmarks, and most importantly cut and paste examples from O'Reilly textbooks so I can later download them onto my PC/Laptop (90% of my reading is O'Reilly). The Nook Tablet appears to not allow this, so therefore I am returning it for a refund. I DO NOT want to have to go to my PC/Laptop and go to any website to download the examples after reading and doing all the work on the device, or search through my notes on the device to find the examples so I can type them into my PC/laptop, etc... I do not want to do duplicate work, don't have the time. If that will be the reply then my question has not been understood. My question is.. which device will allow me to do this with O'Reilly eBooks (and which format and app): 1. Cut and paste examples and associate them with notes and bookmarks. 2. Then connect later to my PC/Laptop and download the work with references. Thanks 2 Replies
Hi Gaspar,
Sorry we missed your question when it came in. I talked with our ebooks team about this, and unfortunately we don't think that there's an ereader that does exactly what you're looking for, particularly the ability to annotate and then sync/download to a PC. One thing that might be helpful to you would be to use a file service like Dropbox to access and work with your ebooks on multiple devices. I'm sorry we don't have a better answer, but I hope this helps. If you have more questions, you'll usually get the fastest response by emailing customer service at orders@oreilly.com. Kind Regards, Rachel James O'Reilly Media |
