Help
i have learning SQL 2nd edition which asks me to install MySQL v6. I.am using windows 7, 64bit. . I can find MySQL v5.5 but not v6. What version do Iinstall?. also, do I install Community server or do I need to install another edition of MySQL. thanks

Where is MySQL v6 for windows1 Reply
I found links to the MySQL Connector for Windows version 6.1 under the development releases: http://dev.mysql.com...r.php?id=403037
On this page: http://dev.mysql.com.../mysql/6.0.html I doubt there are major differences that prevent you from using your book, so go with 5.x and you should be OK. But if the book has screenshots and you see major differences, I would try looking inside the book for the author's contact information.
