Exporting iPad contacts to a CSV file or an Excel worksheet?

Indeed, you are not able to export your contacts to an excel worksheet using the iCloud. However, you can export your iPad contacts to both csv and excel via a utility called copytrans contacts.

It works on Windows PCs, so you need one before you can use it. Then, just connect your iPad to your computer, run the tool and export the contacts. When asked, select Excel:

You are welcome. Note that what I would usually do is export my iPad contacts to an excel sheet (*.xls) only for printing purposes. If I were to transfer contacts from one iDevice to the next, I would use either the vCard format (*.vcf) or CSV if I were to import to Outlook.

If you are going to change your iPhone or just want to take backup of your iPhone contacts, here is a simple way to export your iPhone contacts to Computer as a txt file or a ANTC file. In ANTC file condition, you can protect the file with a password to keep your iPhone contact privacy.
