How to make Google Wave more interesting than just an email reader - add a Gadget or two.

To make Google Wave more than just an email and twitter reader, consider adding a few gadgets to some of your waves. Don't over do it, but use one or two where appropriate. Here is how:

1. Login into your Google Wave Account.

2. Make a New Wave.

3. Browse this Page, and then

4. Load your desired gadget by clicking on the gadget symbol in the upper right hand corner and looks like a puzzle piece. Posted Image

5. Paste the url to the wave example in the box that is prompting you. You will find url on the gadget page from the link on number three above. In this case "http://wave-as-clien...ton-counter.xml" is what you would paste in after you click the puzzle piece shown in #4.

This will load an ActionScript gadget that is basically a click counter. There are many others to choose from though.

That will load your gadget in a wave.
