PDF to ePub problem

my boss just emailed me a PDF file and i want to deal with it on my iPad, however, it seems like i can't sync it to my device via iTunes, and i am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with my ipad or itunes, so what's the problem??

Hi, for converting epub to pdf or others files and for ebook management too I use CALIBRE e-book manager
