How does Verizon 3G coverage compare with ATT across the US?

If you are evaluating 3G coverage for an Android-powered device, you may want to evaluate T-Mobile as well. T-Mobile appears to have the second best coverage after Verizon Wireless. Sprint does not show their 3G coverage on their map page. T-Mobile coverage is found here.
