What is done with answers to Kindle 1 requests for ideas for "experimental" services?
Sort of like the robot in the old movie ("Input. Give me input!"), my new (to me) Kindle 1 is begging for comments to be sent to the Kindle home world about the "experimental" Web browser and music player.
I have lots of ideas about both of them, being an experimenter and electrical engineer, but I'd first like to hear that if I submit ideas, something is likely to get done ON MY MODEL of Kindle. If I send my ideas in and Kindle folks ONLY make changes to the firmware on Kindle versions 2 to 100, that doesn't seem reasonable. Both the browser and the music player are crude and could use lots of help. Tell me if you know if there is some place where I can read about a. others' suggestions on the "experimental" services and b. changes Kindle folks have made in the Model 1's firmware as a result of those suggestions? I ask this because I may be way off base here. I haven't been a user for the last two years. Perhaps they have already implemented lots of changes and I don't know it cuz I'm new to the device and think things have always been the way they are today. Thanks in advance for feedback on this. 1 Reply
Not sure if they are taking requests or not. I would check out the forums for the Kindle especially the Q&A section with the Kindle Techs (Q&A tech forums).
Good luck! |
