How do you know what Apps are running on your Android-powered Device, and how do you force Quit an app?

If you suspect that a few of your apps keep running and are slowing down your device, you may want to do the following if you want to force quit out of an App.

Settings >Applications >Manage Applications >Menu button [click it] >[Select]Filter by “Running.” >Select the app >Force stop

Good solution, though you should also try Advanced Task Manager Lite. No need to go through all the settings mumbo jumbo. No ROOT required.
