I'm developing a location-based iPhone app for which I use Amazon S3. After hearing the SimpleGeo folks pitch at a venture conference, I'm intrigued by its location-based server. It appears to improve upon Amazon S3-type cloud computing with location-based info, such as points of interest and geo-tagged content from other services like Twitter and Flickr.
Have you tried SimpleGeo? If so, please share your impressions.
