I have gotten my calendar synced up. My contacts though still leave me baffled.
Any suggestions?

The easiest way to sync your contacts with your Droid is to enable Google contact syncing with-in the Address Book.app in Snow Leopard. You can do this by checking the "Synchronize with Google" check box in the Address Book.app Preferences and entering your Google account login.

Agreed with the first answer. Although you can find 3rd party software (Missing Sync?) that will sync almost anything to anything, with Android since most things (Address book, Calendar) sync to online services over the air, there really isn't any need to sync directly to a PC or Mac, since you can also access Address book, Calendar and Gmail online and from anywhere via a browser.

If you really want to sync to your Mac (or equivalents on the PC), syncing your iCal and Address Book with Google will allow you to go Mac to Google, and Google to Android and the other direction too.
